Ionia Daily Sentinel – 21 May 1937
Funeral services for Fred Case, 76, aged Boston resident who was found dead 
near Grand River in the rear of the county farm at 1 o’clock Wednesday 
afternoon were held from the Densmore funeral home in Saranac Friday afternoon 
at 2 o’clock with Rev. Frank Loomis officiating.  Interment was in the Saranac 
Cemetery.

Mr. Case was born in Berlin Township in 1870 and lived the greater part of his 
life in Saranac.  He is survived by two brothers.  Addison Case of Clarksville 
and Carl Case of Marian; and five nieces and one nephew.  Bearers were Henry 
Haskins, Gerald Adgate, Charles Palmer and Charles Docher.
