CASLER
Mary Lou Casler age 76 of Lowell, MI passed away November 6, 2019. She was 
born on April 21, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the daughter of Thomas and 
Lida (Raab) Sims. Mary lived inMichigan most of her life and loved gardening, 
spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids, and spending time with family and 
friends around bonfires.

Surviving are her children Hollend (Al) Lowetz of Lowell and Holland (Rachel) 
Opdycke of Swartz Creek; second Husband Earl Casler of Grand Ledge, 
grandchildren Craig (Laurie) Lowetz of Burlington, WI, Blaine Lowetz of 
Ionia, Allan (Lisa) Ondersma-Lowetz of Holland, Erin Lowetz of Lowell, Lacey 
Opdycke of Ypsilanti and Gavin Opdycke of Swartz Creek; great-grandchildren 
Gabriel Lowetz, Abigail Lowetz, Sophia Lowetz, Jacob Lowetz, and Lilley 
Bonkowski; brother Jack (Judy) Sims of Sanford, sisters Joanne (Lance) Bowman 
of Pennsylvania, and members of the Casler family in Lansing. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom Sims and sister Evelyn Bowman, 
and her first husband Holland Opdycke.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life held at a 
later date. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home. Online condolences may
