CLARE H. CASSEL
Clare H. Cassel, 88 of Portland, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. He was born
on Sept . 3, 1927, in Portland the son of Oscar and Eva Cassel. Clare was a Veteran of
World War II who enjoyed watching the Detroit tigers, fishing, hunting and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna. Surviving are his children Mike
(Tanell) Cassel, Gary (Teresa) Cassel, Robert Cassel, Julie (Marvin) Droste, Cheryl Breusch,
Robin (Randy) Fazakerley, Scott (Special friend,Kelly) Cassel, Candie Cassel and Cassie
(Luke) Francis; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Marilyn V. Danielson at 11 a.m.,
Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at the Lehman funeral Home, 210 e. Bridge St., Portland. Interment
will follow at Portland cemetery. the family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the
