CASSELMAN, MABEL MILDRED (BRISBOY)(MRS. FLOYD):  
   SENTINEL-STANDARD, IONIA, MI; 11-4-2003, pg. 2:  "Obituaries - Mabel Mildred
Casselman, 99, of Belding, passed away at Heartland Health Care on November 1,
2003 in Ionia with her family at her side.  Mable was born September 14, 1904 in
Millbrook to George and Leah Cousineau Brisboy.  She was raised in the Millbrook
area and attended a country school near her home.  On October 14, 1924 Mable
married Floyd Casselman near Remus.  Floyd passed away in 1970.  Mable was a
former employee of the Belding Brothers White Silk Mill and later worked for
Ionia Manufacturing for 20 years until her retirement in 1971.
   She loved to crochet, knit and make ceramics.  She was a member of the
Belding Gardeners Club, Bunko Club and Smyrna Extension Club.
   She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Patricia (Dewey) Tjalsma
of Ionia, Thelma (E.J.) Black of Rochester Hills; four grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Leah Dalton of
Fenwick; one sister-in-law, Norma Brisboy.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd; her parents, three sisters,
Rose Davis, Golda Weber, Neva Renkie; two brothers, Dewey and Ted Brisboy.
   Funeral services for Mable are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Huffman-Brigham
Funeral Home in Belding, with Pastor Jerry Snyder officiating.  Visitation will
be today from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Broomfield
Township Cemetery in Remus.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association."
