Belding Banner-News, 24 May 1962

Rhoda M. Casterline, 77 died Wednesday, May 16 at Belding Community Hospital
after a lingering illness.  She was born in Ionia, April 15, 1885 the daughter
of William Haysmer and had lived in the Smyrna community for 35 years.

She was married to Andrew Casterline and he preceded her in death.  Survivors
are one brother, Harvey E. Haysmer, Farwell and one sister, Mrs. Anis Rose,
Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday at Ellis Funeral Home with Rev. William
Hentschell of Smyrna Church officiating.  Burial was in Smyrna cemetery.
