Ionia Standard, 10 Aug 1906

Mrs. Mary Castle died Wed., aged 90 years.  She fractured her hip four years ago, 
and has since been confined to the bed.  She was a pioneer resident, and for 
several years has lived on the homestead farm in Ionia township, two miles north 
and one mile east of City, with her son Herbert.  Seven children survive, all 
residents of this county, and most of them of Ionia township:  Wesley, Charles, 
Joseph, Alfred, Herbert, Mrs. Julia Rice and Mrs. Wm. Brown.  Funeral service at 
the home on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
