The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, June 19, 1912

Mrs. Hiram Castle of Easton died Suddenly last night of convulsions.  Mrs. 
Castle was well throughout the day and partook of a hearty dinner.  She was 
taken ill suddenly in the afternoon and died within a short time.  She was 42 
years of age and leaves the husband and four children, Mrs. Lillie of Grand 
Rapids, Fred, aged 19, Grace aged 14, and Ruth aged 4.  The funeral will be 
attended Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence and at 3 o’clock 
from the Dildine church, Rev. Jerrett officiating.
