Belding Banner-News, 17 Feb 1926

Calista Canfield was born in the state of Vermont in 1847, and departed from
this life on the afternoon of February 11th.  She was united to Russel Bly to
which union there were born six children, two departing from this world in their
infancy.  The four children are: Leon Bly, of this city; Mrs. Bell Cearly, of
Arkansas; Mrs. Ruby Stebbins of Los Angeles, California; and Mont Bly.  Mr. Bly
passed on from this life, she was later united in marriage to Mr. Albert Castle
to which union there were born two children – Mrs. Inez Jones, of Ohio and Mrs.
Iva Brooks of Grand Rapids.  She leaves beside her husband and six children a
number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a
host of friends to mourn their loss.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the
Fitzjohn undertaking home, Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating, and burial was in River
Ridge cemetery.
