Portland Observer – Wednesday, 4 April 1900
The mother of Norman Castle died Saturday, March 17th, at her home in Berlin.  
Funeral was held at the “East Westlian church” and burial made in Let’s 
cemetery the following Monday.  Her last request was that her sons should act 
as pall bearers.
