Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Dec 1952

Mrs. Mary Ann Castle, 50, died at her farm home on Lyons rural route at 6:30
a.m. Thursday, December 4.  She was born in Montcalm county July 23, 1902,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos G. Johnson.  She lived in Lyons for the past ten
years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Castle, in May, 1952. 
Mrs. Castle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving her are two sons, Bertie? Shultz and Robert Moore; three
grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Ella Woodard, of Muir; a brother, Russell
Johnson of Alma and two sisters, Estella Gilisse of Flint and Leona Barlow of
Flint.

The body was removed to the Shaw-Rivett funeral home.  Funeral arrangements will
be announced later.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Muir Oakwood Cemetery.]
