Lake Odessa Wave, 24 Oct 1946

Funeral services were held at the Pickens Funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon for
Mrs. William Caswell, 77, who had been a resident of Lake Odessa for many years.
 The Rev. Victor W. Thrall officiated.

Mrs. Caswell fell at her home about two months ago fracturing her hip.  She was
taken to University hospital in Ann Arbor and later was transferred to Ionia
Memorial hospital in Ionia where she died Saturday.

She was born in Sebewa in 186?.  She was a member of the Central Methodist
church here and the Rebekah lodge.  Surviving are her husband, William, a son
Chalmer, bo__ in Lake Odessa; also five grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.  Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
