County offices in the courthouse were closed during the hours of the funeral, and county officials and employees in the various offices attended the services and served as an escort as the casket was taken from the home. The home was filled with friends and relatives and their presence, together with the profusion of floral offerings which surrounded the casket, evidenced only partially the love and esteem in which Mrs. Caswell had been held by all those who had been in any way associated with her. A long line of cars comprised the cortege that wended its way from the home three miles south on M-43 to Highland Park cemetery, where interment took place. Services were conducted by Rev. W. F. Kendrick, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. The multitude of flowers were arranged by Mrs. Chauncey Antcliff and Mary Nemetz. Bearers were Dale K. Jepson, William Franch, Max Koss, Stuart LaDue, Leo McAlary and Richard VanTiffen.
