Mrs. Cora Catlin, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Burr Duffy, in
Danby November 5 after an illness of several months. 

 Funeral services were held Monday from the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield with
the Rev. A. Blanding of Lansing officiating.  Interment was in Meadowbrook
cemetery in Mulliken.

Her bearers were Walter Brown, Wayne Brown, Bernard Duffy, Burwell Duffy, Arthur
Blanding and Robert Waldron.

Mrs. Catlin was born in Roxand township, Eaton county, and her husband preceded
her in death 22 years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Duffy of Danby and Mrs. Helen Waldron of
Belding; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
Jones of Mulliken and Mrs. John Fuller of Vermontville; and two brothers, Alonzo
Osman of Vermontville and Arthur Osmon of Lansing.
