Ionia Sentinel-Standard, September 26, 1968

Ida M. Catt, 90, of 1404 Johnson, Lake Odessa, died Friday evening at Pennock 
hospital in Hastings where she had been a patient since September 21, when she 
fell suffering a back injury.  She was born April 1, 1878 in Odessa township, 
the daughter of George and Emma Pattel Catt and was a lifelong resident of the 
area having lived in the village since 1914.  She was an employee of Lake 
Odessa canning company until her retirement at the age of 79.  She was a member 
of United Methodist church and Showerman division of the church.

Surviving are a brother Orvin Catt and a sister Mrs. Frank McDonald of Lake 
Odessa; two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 pm at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake 
Odessa.  Rev. Marvin Zimmerman will be at Lakeside cemetery.
