Larry Bruce Catt, age 71, of Lake Odessa and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away
suddenly at his home in Lake Odessa on Friday, August 3, 2007.  Larry was born
in Lake Odessa on June 2, 1936 to Leroy and Margaret (Shumway) Catt.

He had graduated from Lake Odessa High School, and proudly served in the U.S.
Navy from 1955-1959.  Larry had owned a gas station in Lake Odessa following his
discharge, and later worked as a surveyor in Kansas and Traverse City.  After
moving to Florida, he helped maintain the Charlotte County School District
buildings in Punta Gorda.

He is survived by Jeannie (Thomas), his loving wife of 35 years; children, Wayne
(Rose) Thibodeau of Punta Gorda, Bradley (Vicki) Thibodeau of Chattanooga, TN,
Will (Virginia) Thibodeau of Asheville, NC, and Ila (Joe) Segal, of Loveland,
CO; grandchildren, Larry, Ruth, Lisa, Russell, Michelle, Joshua, Dylan, Nathan,
Austin, Micah, Brandon, Bryce, and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Tyler,
Alexandra, Collin, and Christian; mother, Margaret (Shumway) Barker of Hastings;
brothers, Roger (Dianne) Catt of Lake Odessa, and John (Terri) Catt of Lake
Odessa; and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his
father, Leroy Catt.

The funeral service was held at the Koops Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 8,
2007.
