Ionia Daily Sentinel, 20 Nov 1951

Fred P. Cavanaugh of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, died Monday, November 19, 
at 11:50 p.m. at Burns’ Convalescent home on State street.

He was born October 8, 1878, in Ionia, son of Samuel and Mary Cavanaugh.  He 
had been a painter and paperhanger by trade.

Services will be held at the Myers funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Interment 
will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
