Mrs. Cavanaugh spent practically her entire life as a resident of this community coming to the United States from Ireland, her birthplace, when an infant. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kelly, who still reside at the family home in Ireland, but as an infant, was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. William Carse, and her foster mother survives her. Recently she and her husband had moved here from Ionia, to make their home in the city. Surviving to mourn their loss aside from the husband and mother in Greenville are two daughters, Evelyn Craig and Virginia Craig, three sisters, Mrs. Marion Herald of Chicago, and Julia and Honorah in Ireland, four brothers, Thomas, Andrew and Michael of Ireland and Terrance of Grand Rapids. She was first married to Harold Craig, who passed away 11 years ago. Funeral services will be held in St. Charles church here at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 21. Rev. Wm. V. Flannery will officiate and interment will be in St. Charles cemetery.
