Cavanaugh died at her home 110 West Washington Street Thursday evening June 14, at 8 o’clock following a short period of sickness. Miss Cavanaugh was born in Newfield, New York, 71 years ago. She had lived in Ionia several years with her brother, Fred Cavanaugh. She was well known as a dressmaker, a trade which she had followed for many years. Surviving her are two brothers, Fred of Ionia and Charles E. of Detroit, and one sister, Mrs. C.A. Deline of Ionia. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hall funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. M.W. Duffey of the Methodist church will officiate. Burial at the Oak Hill cemetery.
