The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 26, 1918


Frank Cerney died this morning at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids, where 
he went last Tuesday.  The body was brought here about 3:00 o’clock this 
afternoon in the Winchell & Stone motor hearse.  Mr. Cerney leaves a wife and 
four children—Mrs. Mary Sop, Mrs. Josephine Kazik, Charles and Frank, all of 
this city.  The family moved here about five years ago.  Mr. Cerney was 
employed at the Ypsilanti Reed factory.  Funeral arrangements have not yet 
been made.
