Mrs. Charles Chamberlain a lifelong resident of Ionia county died at her home in Orange township, Saturday evening, following an illness that had kept her confined to her bed since Labor day. Funeral services were held from the residence Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made in Balcom cemetery. Mrs. Chamberlain, who before her marriage was Barbara Kuhtz, was born in the city of Ionia but moved to Orange with her parents when three years of age. The remainder of her life was spent in Orange, except four years when she and Mr. Chamberlain resided in Berlin township. She was 64 years of age and had been a member of the LeValley church for 29 years. Besides the husband she is survived by one son, A. J. Chamberlain, of Orange. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, George and Louis Kuhtz, of Ionia; William, of Orange; Mrs. Henretta Schweitzer, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Kate Taylor, of Orange.
