Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Nov 1959

Saranac – Herbert R. Chamberlain, 86, died November 13 at his home in Keene
township.  Born November 27, 1872 in Berlin township, he was the son of Aaron
and Sarah (Curtis) Chamberlain.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Saranac; a son, Russell Chamberlain of
Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Olds of Flint; one grandchild and two
great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Morris funeral home in
Saranac.  The Rev. D.H. Debbink of Lowell officiated and burial was at Balcom
cemetery.  Bearers were Paul Kohn, Floyd Sparks, Alden Sparks, Corwin Cahoon,
Jack Jones and Carl Jensen.
