Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Feb 1987

Ann Jenks Chambers, 33, of 4460 N. State Road, Ionia, died Feb. 13 at the
University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.  She was born Jan. 26, 1954 in
Ionia, the daughter of Elbert and Elmira Blow Jenks.  She graduated from Saranac
High School in 1972.  She married Wayne Chambers on May 12, 1973 in Saranac. 
She was active in 4 H as a member and leader; on the 4 H Advisory Council and
the 4 H Service Club.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne A.; her parents, Elbert and Elmira Jenks of
Saranac; one sister, Ardis Ferris of Lyons; two brothers, Larry Jenks of Jenison
and Lloyd Jenks of Saranac; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of the
Montgomery Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery, with the Rev.
Kenneth Harger officiating.  Memorials may be given to the Ionia 4 H Handicapped
Riders, or the Saladin Temple Crippled Children’s Fund.
