The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 14, 1956

Mamie E. Chambers, 86, died Wednesday morning, March 14 at Pleasant View 
hospital in Owosso, where she had been a patient for nearly a year.  Born 
August 12, 1869, in Ionia, she moved to Owosso in 1917 and is survived only by 
cousins.

The body is at the Knapp and Smith funeral home in Owosso, where funeral 
services will be held Friday, March 16 at 1 o’clock.  Burial will be at 
Highland Park cemetery in Ionia.
