Ionia Sentinel Standard, 31 Oct 1969

Frank D. Chambers, 84, 301 East Main street, Ionia, died Friday morning at the
home of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Hitchcock in Jackson where he had been visiting
the past week.  born September 22, 1885, in Michigan, he was a son of William
and Mary Chambers, and a retired Ionia county farmer.

Surviving are his wife Winnie of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. Clayton McNaughton
and Mrs. Hitchcock of Jackson; two sons Max of Lansing and Russell of Fenwick;
14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, also surviving are a brother,
Thomas, and a sister Mrs. Cedicle Kraai.

Services will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home at 1:30 pm Monday and burial
will be in Palo cemetery.
