Ionia Sentinel - 12 Oct 1899
Chas. H. Chambers died at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning, at his home at 215 Dexter 
Street, of a complication of diseases, in his sixty-second year.  He was born in 
the town of Brosier, St. Lawrence county, N. Y. in February, 1837.  He came with 
his family to Ionia county about 30 years ago and located on a farm in Ionia 
township four miles northeast or this city, where he resided until 1890 when he 
moved to town where he has since made his home.  He is survived by his wife and 
two children Mamie E. and Chas. F. both residents of this city.  the funeral will 
be held from the Church of Christ at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.  Rev. G. K. 
Berry officiating.  Interment at Highland Park.
