Former Portland Lady Killed in Grand Rapids

Mrs. Walter Champion, formerly Elizabeth Miller, and a daughter of Mrs. Anna
Dusendang, at one time a resident of this place, was killed in an automobile
accident at Grand Rapids, Saturday.  Her husband also lost his life in the same
accident, when an interurban struck their auto.

Mrs. Champion was a niece of Mrs. John Esch, who with her husband attended the
funeral in Grand Rapids, Tuesday.

[Transcriber Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that they are
buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids.]
