Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. May 19, 1972


SARANAC- Funeral services for Alfred N. Champlin, 95, will be Sunday at 1:30 pm 
at Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac. Rev. James Frank will officiate and 
interment will be at Clarksville cemetery. 

Mr. Champlin, who lived at 707 West Liberty, Belding, died Thursday morning at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital.

He was born July 29, 1876, June 8, 1905 he was married to Anna Shuburgh and she 
preceded him in death in 1964.

He had lived in the Clarksville area several years and Ionia area 30 years.

Surviving are two sons, Forrest of Kalamazoo and Jay of Belding; ten 
grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation at the funeral home is Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
