Alice Mae Champlin, 54, of Belding, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at 
United Memorial Health Center, Greenville.  She was born April 16, 1948, in 
Grand Rapids, the daughter of Rex L. and Mae J. Spencer Cazier.

Alice was a member of Family Life Center Church of God in Belding.  She enjoyed 
sewing, crocheting and making and decorating cakes.  Alice was a woman of deep 
faith who loved her Lord.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and 
will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was married Oct. 2, 1965 
in Belding to Keith Champlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Jay and Mildred 
Champlin.  She is survived by her husband, Keith Champlin; their children, 
Penny S. Champlin of Belding, David and Becky Champlin of Fenwick, Adam P. and 
Summer Champlin of Gown, Sara L. Champlin of Belding; eight grandchildren with 
number nine on the way; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Warren and 
Wendy Cazier of Gowen, Allan and Vickie Cazier of St. Cloud, Fla., Russell and 
Nancy Cazier of Sidney, Carol Cory of Belding; many nieces and nephews; and 
special cousin, Janet Spencer.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Family Life Center Church of God on M-91 
just north of Belding, with her pastor, Bill Overton, officiating.  Interment 
is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Memorial contributions may be made 
to Family Life Center Church of God or the American Diabetes Association.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding.
