   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

      SANDRA KAY CHAMPLIN

Died Sunday, September 21, 2025-age 83 Lyons.
Born April 13, 1942 in Carson City, MI, daughter of Lester & Beth (Halsted) 
Dean.
Married Donald Champlin on March 30, 1963.He passed September 21, 2007.
Together they raised eight children.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, canning, and gardening.
Sandra was known to rescue many types of animals over the years from raccoon to 
skunks.
Survived by her children, Cherylin (Douglas) Moore of Grand Rapids, Valerie 
(Brad) Gardener of Caledonia, Timothy Champlin of Crystal, Donald Champlin Jr. 
of Crystal, Donelda Perrien of Ionia, Catrina Champlin (Ben Fillingham) of Lyons 
& Sandi Champlin of Portland. Her brother, Ronald Dean. several grandchildren & 
great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald & son, Thomas E.Champlin.
Cremation has taken place & there will be no services scheduled at this time.
She will be laid to rest at Keefer Cemetery at a later date.
