                            IVAN L. CHANCE

Services for Ivan L. Chance, 59, of West Main street were conducted by the Rev. 
Fr. Roger J. Bunday, Rector at St.John's Episcopal Church, Thursday afternoon at 
the Myers Funeral Home. Chance died Tuesday morning at the Ionia Convalescent 
Home after being ill for two weeks.

Bearers were George Mitchell, Cecil Gee, Lee Holland, Robert Walsh, James Lewis 
and Edward Rencci. All members of the L.O.O.M. of which Chance was a member. The 
members of the L.O.O.M. and the W.O.T.M. attended the services in a group.

In charge of flowers were Mrs.Gerald Robinson, Mrs.Joseph Bruyette, Mrs.Cecil 
Gee and Mrs.Claude Conklin.

Burial was in Balcom Cemetery.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr and Mrs Elwood Batdorff, Mrs.Len 
Bishop and Mrs.C.F.Bishop of Lansing; Mr and Mrs Herrman Roltsch of Chicago; Mr 
and Mrs Roy Chance and Mr and Mrs Orville Chance of Traverse City, Mr and Mrs 
Arza Chance of Flint; Mr.and Mrs.Raymond Chance and children of Casnovia; and Mr 
and Mrs.John DeHaan and son of Lowell.
