MANUEL A. CHAPIN
Manuel A. Chapin, 70 of 510 Morse street, died unexpectedly Friday night at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital.

He was born March 22, 1891 in Stanton, the son of Benjamin and Mildred 
(Daniels) Chapin, and was married February 2, 1915 in Ithaca to Ethel Davis.

For the past 11 years Mr. Chapin was employed at Mitchell-Bentley 
corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; four sons, Myrl Chapin of Ashley, Dale and 
Douglas of Fenwick and Arnold of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Powers 
of Mason, Mrs. Ceylon Fulton of Alma and Mrs. Daniel Tuller of Ionia; 16 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Leonard and Darwin 
Chapin of Stanton and Otis of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Diffenderffer 
of Colchester, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 2 'clock Monday afternoon at Myers funeral home 
with the Rev. Fred Johnson of Grand Rapids officiating. Burial will be at 
Sunset Memorial Gardens Shrines.
