Ionia Sentinel Standard
CHAPIN, ALTA ALBERTA (SMITH) (MRS. OTIS CECIL):
  SENTINEL-STANDARD, Ionia, MI, 9-24-1985:  "Area obituaries - IONIA - Funeral
services for Alta Chapin, 78, of Ionia who died Sept. 19, were held Monday at 1
p.m. from the Montgomery-Roetman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kathryn Williams of
Zion United Methodist Church officiating.
   Church organist was Renate Conrad.
   Burial was in the Tuttle Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Richard, Gary and Dale
Chapin; Frank Miller, Daniel Smith and Raymond Linderman.
   Following graveside services, luncheon was served to family and friends at
the Ionia VFW Hall."
