Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Aug 1956

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena ( Judevine) Chapman who died Saturday, August 18,
were conducted Tuesday afternoon, August 21, at the Palo Methodist church with
the Rev. Lewis Herrick of Fenwick officiating.  The Rev. Herrick was assisted by
the Rev. Harold Cox of Hubbardston.  Mrs. Carl Wingeier was the organist and
Chris Harder was the soloist.  Interment was in the Woodard Lake cemetery, with
arrangements in charge of the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  Bearers were Harry
Colson, Lee Sloan, both of Carson City, Carl Wingeier, Jesse Kendall, Ford Mason
and Claud Newman, all of Palo.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Chapman, Sandra and Linda of
Linden, N.J.; Mrs. Otto Turner of Zion, Ill.; Mrs. William Chapman of
California; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoover of Falmouth; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lemmien
of Battle Creek, and Mr. and Mrs. Danon Judevine and family of Eaton Rapids.
