Mrs. Chapman was a long time resident of this community and had always taken a keen interest in church and social activities, being a past worthy matron of the local O.E.S. lodge and a member of the Ladies Literary Exchange Club. Funeral services will be held from the Reed residence this afternoon at two o’clock, with A.J. Blair, of Lowell and Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and burial will be made beside the remains of Mr. Chapman, who was buried in Otisco cemetery several years ago. Surviving are 2 sons, Charles, of Grand Rapids, and Clayton, of Detroit. A sister, Mrs. Etta McLaughlin, who resided with Mrs. Chapman and a brother, Dr. M.C. Green, of Lowell, also survive.
