Ionia Daily Sentinel-Thurs.Dec. 28, 1911

Mrs. Joseph Chapman died at her home in Fairplains township, Dec. 17.  Mrs. Chapman
was 80 years of age and was one of the early settlers of Bushnell township. She will be
missed by a large circle of friends.

FENWICK
Dec. 26- Mrs.Joseph Chapman of Fairplains died at her home Dec. 17, 1911 at the age
of 80 years. She had been a resident of Montcalm county for 59 years. She leaves a husband
and a daughter and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her death. The funeral
services were held at the Congregational church of Fenwick Tuesday, Dec 19, Interment in
Clear Lake cemetery.
