DIXIE CHAPMAN 1940-2016
Dixie Chapman, age 75, of Ionia, passed away July 10, 2016. She was born Sept. 29,
1940 in Ionia, Michigan. Dixie married Ferguson Chapman, he passed away in 1981. She
worked at the Ionia County Jail as a cook for 18 years.

Dixie is survived by her children, Kevin Chapman of Cedar Springs, and Lynn (Rodney)
Ruehs of Ionia; grandchildren; Vaughn Chapman, Alysia Blough, Trent Benedict, Dale
Hunt, Ashley Benedict, Daniel Benedict, and Bradley Benedict; great-grandchildren; Barron
and Makeala; brother, L.D. (June) Burger of Vermontville; sisters, Carolyn (Bob)
Scholtens of Ionia, and Lee Miller of Lansing, Michigan.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made
