Well known here and in Sunfield Townships. Leaves husband and found children. The friends and family of Mrs. Ida Chapman, wife of Marcus Chapman, were surprised to learn of her death Friday evening. Mrs. Chapman had been in poor health for some time but had not been considered in a serious condition by her friends. Thus her death came as a surprise. Mrs. Chapman had won many friends by her kindness and thoughtfulness and her pleasing personality, aside from her immediate family. She was also a very kind neighbor. The funeral service was held at the home of her son Eldon Lee Dunham in the village here Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Thomas W. Thompson of the Sunfield Methodist church preached, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Goodemoot sang. Bera & Mapes of Sunfield had charge of the services. Burial was in Mulliken cemetery.
