Ionia Weekly Standard - Friday, April 6, 1917

Herbert A. Chapman, 42 years old, son of Mr. Palmer T. Williams of this city, 
died on Sunday morning at the O'Keefe sanitarium in Grand Rapids, after an 
illness of several months. Besides his mother his is survived by a sister, 
Mrs. Harry E. Hosken, 838 Cherry street, S. E. Grand Rapids, at whose home 
funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Interment will 
be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Deceased was in Ionia up to about two weeks ago, 
and was failing steadily and perceptibly the recent weeks.
