Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 May 1986

Frederick F. Chapman, 60, of 611 North Jackson Street, Ionia, died Tuesday at
Greenville United Memorial Hospital.  Born May 3, 1926, he was the son of John
and Mary Graves Chapman.  He attended Ionia Public Schools and served in the
U.S. Army during World War II.  He was a retired stockhandler of Oldsmobile,
Lansing, a member of the Lyons-Muir V.F.W. Post, No 4646, and of Am-Vets, Ionia
Post.

Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne Chapman of Ionia and Vicki Goodman of
Bellaire, Calif.; one brother and four sisters; and a grandson, Ryan Babcock of
Ionia.

Cremation has taken place.  Graveside services will be Saturday, May 31, at 11
a.m. at Highland Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Ziebarth of North Plains
Community Church officiating.  Military services will be under the auspices of
the Lyons-Muir V.F.W. Post.  Arrangements have been made by Hull Memorial
Chapel, Muir.
