Ionia County News, 8 Dec 1921

Hubbardston – Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert Chapman were held Tuesday 
afternoon from the home of her mother, Mrs. H. Johnson.  Rev. Brown conducted the 
funeral services and interment took place in the West Side cemetery.  At the time 
of her death Mrs. Chapman was 49 years of age and had resided in Lansing for a 
number of years.  She spent her girlhood in this village and has many friends 
here.  Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Boyd.
