                                PAUL L. CHARLES

Funeral mass for Paul L. Charle, 81, will be Tuesday at 10 am at SS.Peter & Paul 
Catholic Church with internment in Mt.Olivet Cemetery.

Mr.Charles of 445 East Main died Saturday morning at his residence.Born August 
18, 1886 in North Plains township. He was the son of Paul L. and Addie Charles.
October 19, 1909, he was married to Mayme Hallahan.

He operated a farm near Lyons before moving to Ionia, where he was operating 
engineer at Michigan Reformatory 32 years before retiring in 1956.He was a 
member of SS. Peter and Paul church and graduate of Muir high school.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.Bernard Sarlouis son, Robert P. Charles of 
Lansing; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert 
M.of Lansing.

Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 pm at Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home.
