Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church, interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home. Mrs. Charles is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Sariouis; a son, Robert Charles of Lansing; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, James Hallahan of Tampa, Fla. another daughter Frances Ellen, preceded her in death. Mrs. Charles, a resident of Ionia county for most of her life, was born December 7, 1887 at Muir. She was the daughter of John and Mary Hallahan and the wife of Paul L. Charles, whom she married October, 19, 1909 in SS Peter and Paul church in Ionia. Mr. and Mrs. Charles lived in Lyons until 1924, when they moved to Ionia. Mrs. Charles was a member of Ionia Catholic church, rosary society, and charter member of Daughters of Isabella.
