Lyons Herald, 15 Jan 1903

Rivington S. Chase died at Petoskey Tuesday morning.  The Ionia papers give his 
birthplace as at Lyons on December 13, 1878, moving from here to Ionia when but 
seven years old and making his home with his uncle W.F. Soule.  His mother died 
during his early life, being buried in the Lyons cemetery.
