Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Sep 1966

Harold Chase, route two, Ionia, died Friday morning being crushed in an Ionia 
cave-in.  He was born in Ionia, February 10, 1928, and was the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Myron Chase.  He attended Ionia high school and worked for the city these 
last three years.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two stepsons, Paul 
Monks and Dale Wilson and his mother, Elsie Chase of Ionia, two brothers, Roy 
of Grand Rapids and George of Ionia, one sister, Eva Greiger.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Myers funeral home, with burial in 
Tuttle cemetery.
