Ionia Sentinel – 13 February 1924
Mrs. Marvin Chase died Saturday night at her home in Lowell.  She was 80 years 
old and the mother of nine children, two being dead.  Her husband died eight 
years ago and with the exception of the past 15 years, she has always lived in 
South Boston.  The funeral was held Tuesday and burial took place in South 
Boston cemetery.  Mrs. Chase lived to see the marriage of her 22 year old 
great-granddaughter, Miss Letha Rogers, to Frank Keiser Saturday.
