Mrs. Mary Christina Chase died unexpectedly of a heart attack at her home on
Front street Monday evening after a few days illness.  Better known as Tina, she
was born July 7, 1873, in Otisco township southeast of the city, the daughter of
Mathew and Catherine Kohn.

Her first husband, Dowdy Moon, died many years ago and she later married Ernest
Chase, who died several years ago.

She is survived by one daughter, Lydia Moon Young, of Saranac, and Ralph and
Russell Moon of Alma; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two
sisters, Mrs. Karl Cowles of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Willard Worden of Seattle,
Wash.; one brother, Joseph, of Rockford.

Rev. Wilbur Kirby will officiate at the funeral services at the Fitzjohn Funeral
Home at 2 o’clock Friday and burial will be in Otisco cemetery.
