Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, June 7, 1944

Mrs. Annetta Chase, 84, for many years a resident of Ionia county, died 
Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. She was born August 20, 1859, in Sunfield 
and came to Prairie Creek at the age of 26 and had lived there the rest of 
her life.

Surviving are two sons, Norman Bishop of Saginaw and George Bishop of 
Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Miller, of Ionia; nine grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Myers 
funeral home. Rev. George Woolcock will officiate and burial will be in 
Highland Park cemetery.
