Freda L. Chase Dies at Lansing

Mrs. Freda L. Chase, 57, of Jolly Rd. Lansing, passed away Sunday at a Lansing 
hospital. A native of Lansing 40 years and was employed by the State of Michigan 
Crippled Children's Commission and a member of the Michigan State Employees 
Association. 

Surviving are her husband, Robert; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Bonita) Grant of 
Mason and Mrs. Gerald (Phyllis) Harrington of San Jose, Calif., eight 
grandchildren; two brothers; Fred W. Norris of Detroit and Dwight E. Norris of 
Lansing; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Hudson of Holt, Mrs. Maxine Northrup of Midland, 
Mrs. Meree Bappert of Williamston and Mrs. Thelma Nourse of Detroit. 

Services were held Wednesday at 11:30 at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral home with 
graveside services and burial at the Edmore Cemetery.

Mrs. Chase's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Norris resided on Jordan Lake 
Ave., at Bonanza Corners. Dwight is better known locally as Eugene.
