February 22, 2025 On the morning of Feb. 10th, 2025, David Lawrence Chase, at the age of 83, passed away peacefully in his lifelong home on his farm in Coats Grove surrounded by his loving family. David attended Coats Grove Country School through the 7th grade before going to Woodland, where he graduated and met his high school sweetheart, Brenda, his truly dedicated and loving wife for 63 years this coming March 31st. David is survived by the love of his life,Brenda Joyce(Green), children, Regan(Alice),Michelle (A.J.), Beth(and special granddaughter Emmie). Grandchildren Joshua(Megan),Justin(Amber),Magen(Marcus),James, Emmie, Ryan, B.J. (Leah),Aaron(Seanta):great-grandchildren Jaiden, Chrislynn, Emma, Bennett, Zoey, Owen, Shay, Jasmine, Gabrie, Isaiah, Raihna, Caleb & Kaleena, twin brothers Robert(Kathy) Chase and Roger(Gayle)Chase along with many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Hildred Chase, his brother Gordon Chase and his sister-in-law Sandra Chase. David was a formidable force on the football field and gave up a full scholarship to Arizona State to run the family farm until 1986, when he sold the dairy. He continued crop farming until his son took over.He proceeded to work by Regan's side for many years. David spent many hours driving the tractor with his grandchildren, singing "You are my sunshine." After retirement David and Brenda enjoyed traveling with their special friends and family for man years.Family meant everything to David.He was honored to step into the role of father-figure for his granddaughter Emmie being there for her daily and for every occasion big or small. More than anything else David was a faithful servant of God, attending Kilpatrick U.B.Church since the day he was born. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones. Visitation for David will be held on February 14th, 2025,, at Kilpatrick UB Church from 10 am until time of service at 11am. Burial will take pace at Woodland Memorial Park.
