She was born at Spring Lake but has lived the greater part of her life in Ionia county, where her affiliations with the Church of Christ and her place in the community has won her many friends. She has lived in Muir about 20 years, moving to town from Ronald township. She is survived by her husband to whom she has been married 52 years; two sons, James at home, and William of Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Case, Ionia; Mrs. Eva Hubbard, Detroit and Mrs. Inez Hoople, Birmingham and a brother, George Campfield, of Roscommon, besides seven grandchildren. The funeral arrangements will be made as soon as the children from the vicinity of Detroit arrive. THURSDAY, FEB. 2, 1928 The funeral services for Mrs. George Chase who died at the home in Muir Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 1 o'clock, slow time, or 2 o'clock, fast time. Burial will take place in the North Plains cemetery.
